Freedom Turf is a non-directional synthetic grass.  Non-directional means that through a patented fabrication process, our blades do not lay in a uniform direction making the color of your lawn the same from all sight lines.  This gives Freedom Turf it's realistic qualities as compared to other synthetic turf on the market.  In addition to the realistic look, Freedom Turf also feels great!   We offer turf solutions for residential, athletic, and commercial applications.

After graduating from The Citadel in 1963, owner Truman Kemp, served in South Vietnam as a Squadron Commander with the 3rd Tactical Fighter Wing at Bien Hoa Air Base. In charge of over 700 men and providing for their health, morale and welfare, Truman quickly saw the need for outdoor living areas to keep his men safe and increase morale. Kemp was given an award by the Air Force for his innovative methods in increasing the morale and welfare of his men, by providing “attractive outdoor living environments.”   Truman has instituted his passion for developing outdoor environments professionally with Coastal Carolina Hardscapes and Freedom Synthetic Turf.
